Oregon rates for HCPCS 27125

Replaces the ball at the top of the thigh bone with a metal implant while leaving the natural hip socket in place. It is most often used after a broken hip in an older person, where the blood supply to the ball has been lost and the bone will not heal. Standing and walking usually begin within a day or two.
