Hip Socket Reconstruction Surgery

Connecticut rates for HCPCS 27120

This reshapes and reconstructs the socket portion of the hip joint, most often performed when the socket is shallow or poorly formed, a condition called hip dysplasia. The surgery repositions or augments bone around the socket to give the hip joint better coverage and stability. It's typically performed in children, adolescents, or young adults before more significant joint damage develops.
