Wide Removal Of Tumor From Hip And Pelvis Bone

Wyoming rates for HCPCS 27078

Removal of a bone tumor involving the sitting bone of the pelvis and the bony bump at the top of the thigh bone, taking a wide margin of healthy tissue around it. Taking a generous margin lowers the chance that the tumor returns in the same place. It is major surgery followed by a long rehabilitation to regain hip strength and walking.
