Open Repair of a Dislocated Knuckle Joint

Vermont rates for HCPCS 26715

Opens the joint where a finger or thumb meets the hand through an incision so a dislocation can be put back into place under direct view. It is used when the joint cannot be relocated by manipulation, usually because soft tissue is caught between the bone ends. Pins or other hardware may be used to hold the joint while it heals.
