Repairs one of the small muscles that lie within the hand itself and control fine finger movement, after it has been torn, cut or otherwise damaged. The surgeon exposes the muscle and stitches the damaged fibers or their attachment so it pulls properly again. One muscle is treated, and each additional muscle repaired is billed separately.
