Rebuilding a Side Ligament of a Finger Joint

Vermont rates for HCPCS 26545

Rebuilds a torn ligament on the side of a finger joint using a graft, usually a strip of tendon or tough tissue taken from elsewhere in the body, when the original ligament is too damaged to be stitched back together. The graft is anchored to the bone on each side of the joint to restore sideways stability. Obtaining the graft is part of the operation, and it covers one joint.
