Tightening The Capsule At One Knuckle

Vermont rates for HCPCS 26516

Tightens the fibrous capsule at the base of one finger - the large knuckle - so the joint can no longer bend backwards too far. It is used when nerve damage or deformity lets the finger claw or hyperextend, which makes gripping and pinching difficult.
