Tendon Transfer To Straighten A Drifting Finger

Maine rates for HCPCS 26510

One of the small tendons inside the hand is detached and moved across to the other side of the finger, changing the direction of its pull so a finger that has drifted sideways is straightened. It is used when the finger joints have become unbalanced, often from long-standing arthritis. One tendon is treated per procedure.
