Open Division Of A Bending Tendon In The Finger

Rhode Island rates for HCPCS 26455

Divides a flexor tendon in the finger — one of the cords that curl the finger inward — through a small open incision, so a finger held bent can be straightened. It is used when the tendon has permanently shortened and no longer lets the finger open. One tendon is treated, and each additional tendon is billed separately.
