Removal Of Thickened Palm Tissue

Alabama rates for HCPCS 26121

Removes the thickened, rope-like layer of tissue in the palm that pulls the fingers down toward the palm in Dupuytren's disease. The surgeon opens the palm, takes out the diseased tissue, and rearranges or grafts skin as needed to close the wound. This version treats the palm itself rather than continuing the release out into a finger.
