Setting a Dislocated Lunate Wrist Bone

Louisiana rates for HCPCS 25690

Treatment of a dislocation of the lunate, a small bone in the middle of the wrist, without opening the skin. With the wrist relaxed under anesthesia, the doctor presses and pulls the bone back into its proper place and then holds the wrist in a splint or cast. Follow-up x-rays confirm that it stays seated.
