Repositions and pins a broken bony knob on the little-finger side of the wrist, at the end of the forearm bone called the ulna, using wires or screws driven through small punctures rather than an open incision. Imaging during the procedure confirms the bone and the hardware are correctly placed. It is used when the fragment will not stay put on its own but the fracture does not need to be exposed.
