Shortening Of Both Forearm Bones

Surgery that shortens both bones of the forearm, the radius and the ulna. A segment is removed from each bone and the ends are brought together and held in place while they heal. It is done to correct a length or alignment problem so the wrist and elbow line up and work together properly.
