Realigning The Forearm Bone Near The Wrist

Vermont rates for HCPCS 25350

The radius — the forearm bone on the thumb side — is cut across near the wrist and reset so the wrist lines up correctly again. The bone is held in its corrected position while it heals. It is used when a break that healed crooked, or a deformity, has thrown the wrist out of line and is causing pain or limited movement.
