Tendon Transfer in the Forearm or Wrist

Moves a working tendon in the forearm or wrist from its normal attachment to a new one, so it can take over the job of a muscle or tendon that no longer works. It is used after nerve injury, paralysis, or a tendon rupture that cannot be stitched back together. Each tendon moved is counted separately.
