Removing the End of the Forearm Bone at the Wrist

Wyoming rates for HCPCS 25240

Removes part or all of the lower end of the ulna, the forearm bone on the little-finger side, where it meets the wrist. It is done when that bone end is arthritic, prominent, or blocking rotation, causing pain when turning the palm up and down. Taking it away relieves the grinding and restores forearm rotation.
