Wide Removal Of A Forearm Bone Tumor

Maryland rates for HCPCS 25170

Removes a tumor from one of the forearm bones together with a cuff of surrounding healthy bone and soft tissue, so no diseased tissue is left at the edges. The gap left behind is then reconstructed as needed. It is used for aggressive or cancerous bone tumors rather than for simple cysts.
