Removal of a Ganglion Cyst That Has Returned

Vermont rates for HCPCS 25112

Removes a fluid-filled cyst from the wrist that has come back after earlier treatment. Because scarring from the previous procedure makes the area harder to work in, the surgeon traces the cyst down to its stalk at the joint and removes that base as well as the visible lump. The wrist is protected briefly afterwards.
