Replacing the Radial Head After an Elbow Fracture

Rhode Island rates for HCPCS 24666

Treats a break at the top of the radius, the forearm bone that forms part of the elbow, by removing the broken end and putting an artificial radial head in its place. It is used when the bone is in too many small pieces to be put back together and held with hardware. The implant restores the length and stability of the elbow.
