Nonsurgical Treatment of an Elbow-Area Fracture

New Jersey rates for HCPCS 24576

Nonsurgical treatment of a fracture of a bone near the elbow joint, using a splint or cast rather than surgery to move the broken pieces back into place. It applies when the fractured pieces are already positioned well enough that manual repositioning is not needed. The arm is immobilized in that position to allow the bone to heal.
