Nonsurgical Repositioning Of An Elbow-Area Arm Fracture

A fracture near the elbow end of the upper arm bone is treated without surgery by manually repositioning the broken pieces back into proper alignment, then the arm is immobilized while it heals. A splint, cast, or traction may be used afterward to hold the bone in place.
