Total Elbow Replacement

Vermont rates for HCPCS 24363

Replaces both halves of the elbow joint with an artificial one — a metal stem set into the lower end of the upper arm bone and another into the upper end of the forearm bone, joined where the natural joint used to be. It is used when arthritis or severe damage leaves the elbow painful and stiff despite other treatment. The new joint restores bending and straightening with far less pain.
