Treats stubborn pain at the bony bump on the outer or inner side of the elbow, where the forearm tendons attach and become worn and degenerated. Through an incision over the painful area the damaged tendon tissue is cleared away and the surface is prepared so healthy tissue can heal onto the bone. It is considered only after months of rest, therapy, bracing and injections have failed to settle the pain.
