Removal Of The Radial Head At The Elbow

Arizona rates for HCPCS 24130

Removes the radial head — the disc-shaped top of the forearm bone on the thumb side, which forms part of the elbow joint. It is taken out when it is badly broken, worn away by arthritis, or blocking the elbow from bending and turning. Removing it relieves pain and restores rotation of the forearm.
