Setting a Dislocated Shoulder With a Broken Bone

Vermont rates for HCPCS 23675

Puts a dislocated shoulder back into its socket when the top of the upper arm bone is also broken across its neck, using manipulation of the arm rather than an incision. Anesthesia or strong sedation is normally needed so the muscles relax enough for the shoulder to go back. X-rays confirm the position afterwards.
