Open Repair Of A Dislocated Shoulder With Fracture

Puts a dislocated shoulder back in place through an incision and, in the same operation, fixes the broken knob of bone at the top of the upper arm where the rotator cuff tendons attach. The fragment is set back into position and held with screws, wires, a plate or strong sutures. It is used when both the dislocation and the broken piece need to be dealt with directly.
