Open Surgery To Reset A Dislocated Shoulder

Vermont rates for HCPCS 23660

Puts a shoulder that has come out of its socket back in place through an incision, when it cannot be coaxed back by manipulating the arm from outside. The surgeon opens the joint, clears whatever is blocking the ball from seating in the socket, and sets it back directly. It is used for a recent dislocation that will not go back any other way.
