Setting a Dislocated Shoulder Under Anesthesia

Vermont rates for HCPCS 23655

Puts a shoulder that has come out of its socket back into place by moving the arm in a controlled way, with the patient given anesthesia so the muscles relax enough for it to go back. No incision is made. Anesthesia is used when the shoulder will not reduce with pain medicine alone or when muscle spasm is blocking it.
