Repairs a shoulder separation, where the collarbone has come apart from the tip of the shoulder blade because the ligaments holding them together have torn. Through an incision on top of the shoulder, the collarbone is brought back down into its correct position and the torn support is reconstructed and secured while it heals. The arm is rested in a sling afterwards.
