Strengthening of a Weakened Collarbone

Surgery that reinforces a collarbone that has been weakened by disease and is at risk of breaking, before a fracture actually happens. A rod, plate, pins, or wires are placed to support the bone, and bone cement is sometimes used to fill a hollowed-out area.
