Front-Approach Lower Back Fusion

Fuses two bones of the lower spine together by reaching the spine from the front, through the abdomen, clearing the worn disc from between them and filling the gap with bone graft or a spacer. The two vertebrae then grow into one solid unit. Approaching from the front gives direct access to the disc without disturbing the back muscles and nerves.
