Covers one more disc level treated during a fusion done through the front of the neck: the worn disc is removed, bone spurs and material pressing on the spinal cord or nerve roots are cleared away, and a spacer is set in so the neighbouring bones grow together. It is billed in addition to the main operation for each further level treated in the same surgery.
