An added service when a vertebroplasty — injecting bone cement through the skin to stabilize a spinal bone — treats more than one level. It applies to each additional vertebral body beyond the first, on one or both sides, and includes all imaging guidance and a bone biopsy when performed. It is charged in addition to the primary treatment.
