Bone Cement Injection Into a Neck or Upper Back Vertebra

New Mexico rates for HCPCS 22510

Injects bone cement through a needle into a collapsed or fractured vertebra in the neck or upper back, where it hardens and stabilizes the bone. The needle is guided by imaging, and a sample of bone may be taken through the same needle. One vertebra is treated, from one or both sides.
