Bone And Skin Transfer From A Foot Bone

A segment of one of the long bones of the foot, together with the skin and soft tissue over it, is moved to another part of the body to rebuild a defect. Its blood vessels are joined to vessels at the new site under a microscope so that the transferred bone and skin keep their own blood supply.
