Removing Medicated Material From Inside a Bone

Medicated material that was placed inside the hollow marrow canal of a bone, such as antibiotic-loaded cement, is taken back out. It is removed once it has done its work of delivering the drug directly to the bone, or to make way for the next stage of treatment. It is done during another operation and is billed in addition to it.
