Ganglion Cyst Aspiration Or Injection

North Dakota rates for HCPCS 20612

A needle is used to draw fluid out of a ganglion cyst, a soft fluid-filled lump arising from the lining of a joint or tendon, and medicine may be injected into the area afterwards. It applies wherever such a cyst occurs, though the wrist and hand are the commonest sites. It is usually a short office procedure and does not need an operating room.
