Enzyme Injection for a Curled Finger Condition

Vermont rates for HCPCS 20527

An injection of an enzyme medication directly into a thickened band of tissue in the palm that is causing one or more fingers to curl inward and resist straightening. The enzyme works to soften and weaken that band of tissue over the following day or two. This is typically followed by a separate office visit to manually break up and stretch the treated tissue so the finger can straighten.
