Rebuilds the shape of a breast using the patient's own skin, fat and sometimes muscle taken from another part of the body, most often the lower abdomen. The tissue is completely detached along with its blood vessels and moved to the chest, where those vessels are reconnected under a microscope so the tissue stays alive. No artificial implant is needed.
