Takes a patient's own fat out through a liposuction cannula, prepares it, and injects it back into another area to restore volume, smooth a dent or improve contour. Because the tissue comes from the same person, it is not rejected, though some of the transferred fat is reabsorbed and touch-up sessions are sometimes needed. How much is injected and which area is treated determine which version of the service applies, and larger volumes are billed in addition.
