Muscle Flap Moved To Cover A Wound

Vermont rates for HCPCS 15736

Moves a piece of muscle, or muscle together with the skin and tissue over it, from one area to cover a wound that will not heal on its own. The flap keeps its own blood supply, which brings fresh circulation into damaged or exposed tissue and helps fight infection. The place the tissue came from is closed directly or covered with a skin graft.
