Extra Area Of Skin Graft To Face Hands Or Feet

Vermont rates for HCPCS 15121

Covers each further area grafted beyond the first when a thin layer of the patient's own skin is moved onto a wound of the face, scalp, eyelids, mouth, neck, ears, genitals, hands or feet. The graft is shaved from a healthy donor site elsewhere on the body and laid over the prepared wound, where it grows a new blood supply. It is billed in addition to the first area treated.
