Filleted Finger Or Toe Flap To Cover A Wound

Vermont rates for HCPCS 14350

When a finger or toe cannot be saved, its skin and soft tissue are lifted off the bone as an intact sleeve and swung across to resurface a wound on the neighbouring hand or foot. The flap keeps its own blood supply, so it brings durable, sensate cover rather than a thin patch. The area receiving the flap is prepared during the same operation.
