Removal of a Pilonidal Cyst

Wyoming rates for HCPCS 11770

Removes a pilonidal cyst or sinus, a pocket and tunnel under the skin at the top of the buttock crease that often traps hair and becomes painful or infected. The surgeon cuts out the pocket along with the small opening on the skin and closes the wound. This is the straightforward version, where the area involved is limited.
