Vein Rerouting For Severe Leg Artery Disease

Rhode Island rates for HCPCS 0620T

For a leg whose arteries are so badly blocked that none can be reopened, this treatment reroutes blood from an artery into a deep vein of the lower leg using stents placed through catheters. The vein then carries oxygen-rich blood down towards the foot, which can allow wounds to heal and help avoid an amputation.
