Replacing A Defibrillator Unit With Breastbone Lead

Removing the battery-and-electronics unit of a defibrillator whose wire runs behind the breastbone, and connecting a new unit to the wire already in place. The pocket under the skin is opened, the old unit is disconnected and taken out, and the new one is fitted; the wire itself is left where it is.
