Medication is injected into the suprachoroidal space of the eye, a thin layer between the white outer coat and the blood-vessel layer beneath it, using a very short needle placed through the wall of the eye. Delivering the drug into that layer directs it toward the back of the eye. The medicine itself is supplied separately from the procedure.
