27-Gene Medication Response Test

Vermont rates for HCPCS 0350U

Helps a clinician pick medications that suit your genetics and avoid ones your body may process poorly. Twenty-seven genes that affect how the body handles medicines are examined in either whole blood or a cheek (buccal) swab, and each gene is reported as a metabolizer type — for example slow, normal or rapid. This version reports those gene results without an accompanying analysis of how individual drugs interact with them.
