Urine RNA Test For Prostate Cancer Risk

Rhode Island rates for HCPCS 0343U

Grades how likely a man is to have prostate cancer, using urine instead of a blood draw or biopsy. A urine sample is tested by RT-PCR for 442 markers of non-protein-making RNA carried in exosomes, the tiny particles cells release, and the pattern is reported as one of four risk grades.
