Optical Genome Mapping For Blood Cancers

Delaware rates for HCPCS 0331U

Looks for large chromosome rearrangements in leukemias, lymphomas and other cancers of the blood and bone marrow. A blood or bone-marrow sample is examined by optical genome mapping, which images very long DNA molecules to reveal breaks, fusions, deletions and duplications. Only that sample is examined; no comparison against the patient's normal tissue is included.
